Myakkahatchee Flood

Myakkahatchee Creek is a tributary of the Myakka River in Sarasota County, FL. The creek is a part of the Myakkahatchee Environmental Park in North Port. A few days before my plein air group painted there, heavy rains cuased the creek to overflow its banks and flood some of the adjacent woodlands.
